one year later
today was my last day as an americorps vista and it summed up much of what this year’s been about: ups and downs. i’ve gotten so much more out of this experience than i ever could have expected, and learned a lot about my goals, my work ethic, and my leadership. i’m proud to say that i’ve grown to be able to know how to SIT AT THE MUTHAFCKING TABLE, and today i did that, being the only person of color at that table. i’m so lucky to have had this year under my belt and i’m excited to see what the next few months with spark will bring. then on to grad school! :)
